Host a Green Mama Cafe

What is The Green Mama Cafe?

The Green Mama Cafe is an interactive group of parents (and expectant parents) that meets weekly to learn about green living, share parenting tips, and have fun. Sessions run 12 weeks. Children are welcome.

The Green Mama Cafe is supported by Manda Aufochs Gillespie, aka The Green Mama and is hosted by either a specific group or person or by a group of parents. In the past, Green Mama Cafes have been hosted by Whole Foods Markets, Nature Museums, parent groups, baby boutiques, yoga studios, lifestyle centres, and coffee shops.

Day Cares & Schools

Why a Green Day Care or School?

Parents today are searching for healthier options for their children. We now know that good indoor air quality can reduce or prevent asthma attacks; that additive-free, healthy foods can prevent some behavior issues; and that chemicals such as BPA, phthalates, and Triclosan (all routinely found in children’s products from toys to hand soaps) can effect the developing hormone systems.
